Feeling Gratitude

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
~William Arthur Ward

This was a quote in one of the first e-mails I read this year. As I spent the holiday reflecting on the past year and making plans for this, I saw how easy it is to forget to express my gratitude. I have so much to be grateful for. I have a wonderful job, phenomenal coworkers—our team is the best it’s been in years! I am part of an amazing practice and we have the BEST patients! Our patients have joined my family & friends creating an expansive network of people I care about. I call them my "Care More" family. I was talking to one of my friends whose family is not here—it’s a long plane ride with layovers for her to get home. We were talking and she told me that she knew if she ever needed anything all she needs to do is pick up the phone & I’ll be there! Wow! I am grateful that she told me how much she values and appreciates our friendship.

One of my resolutions this year is to express my gratitude—to wrap the gift and give it!

Thank you! Thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you for reading my blog. Thank you for helping me to become a better person and to help others on their journey.

2011 is going to be the best year yet!
